Spending a ton of time reviewing the photos from last Saturday. I have deleted over 200 photos that were out of focus or had people in the background that shouldn't have been there. I still have 1200 pics left. Talk about a backup. Every third pic is breathtaking I have to say. To get up close to majestic birds like I did was truly an experience. Couple things I did learn:

"But it's supposed to rain and be miserable!!" That was the comment. I had signed up over a month earlier - and made a commitment. Besides, the colours are way more rich and saturated when it is cloudy and damp. So I went anyhow. I drove for almost 2 hours to the Canadian Raptor Conservancy for a 'Birds in Flight' session. I drove through miserable rain at 5 degrees C. Lo and behold, when I go there, the weather cleared. During the course of three hours we had a few drops of rain... and some AMAZING photographic opportunities!! Stay tuned, I will post the photos on instagram over the next few days (johnt.4mm), and add a page here on this site.
